The Meth project is a series of commercials directed by none other than Darren Aronofsky for ad agency Organic SF.

These commercials are VERY hard hitting and almost uncomfortable to watch but they serve their purpose very very well. The work is immediately reminiscent  of Aronofsky’s Requiem for a Dream and again he, very honestly and realistically, places you within inches of the characters psyche.

I can’t say they are enjoyable to watch but this is the kind of shockvertising will hopefully end up being quite effective.
